Before you order.
Everything worth knowing before a vial reaches your laboratory.
What does "research use only" mean?
Everything we sell is for laboratory and research use only, and not for human consumption. It is not a drug, food or cosmetic. We sell exclusively to qualified researchers and licensed laboratories, and every order requires confirming your research purpose at checkout.
What does ≥ 99% purity actually mean?
It is the proportion of the material that is the stated peptide, measured by reversed-phase HPLC and reported against the individual lot you received — not a figure for the brand or for the compound in general. Every lot is measured separately, and a lot that misses its specification is not listed for sale.
Who runs the assay?
An independent third-party laboratory. We do not test our own material, because a purity figure produced by the seller is not evidence.
Can I see the certificate for the lot I received?
Yes. Every lot has its own certificate of analysis, and the lot number on your vial matches the certificate filed against it. The COA is linked on each product page and on your order confirmation.
How do I read a certificate of analysis?
Four things are worth checking. Lot should match the number printed on your vial — if it does not, the document is not about your material. Method says how purity was measured, which for us is RP-HPLC at 220 nm. Identity says how the compound itself was confirmed, by ESI-MS. Specification is the threshold the lot had to clear and Result is what it actually measured.
The trace underneath those rows is the chromatogram the numbers came from. One dominant peak is the compound; anything else present is what the purity figure has already accounted for.
How should material be stored?
At the temperature listed in each product's specification, desiccated and protected from light. The specification on the product page is for the material as supplied.
How do I reach you about an order?
Through the contact page. Include the order number and your questions/concerns and somebody from our team will get back to you within 24 hours!
